In light of the considerable interest expressed in Robert Moore’s painting Properly Accessorized, recently featured on the cover of House & Home magazine, we are excited to offer high-quality prints of this celebrated work. Drawn from a specially-commissioned, high-resolution image by Jane Brokenshire (the professional photographer responsible for the original House & Home feature), every detail of the original painting is handsomely reproduced.

These prints are open edition, each maintaining the essence of the original. Please note that these prints are sold unframed, allowing you to choose a size and a frame that suits you.

Archival Quality for Longevity

Each print is produced on Epson UltraSmooth Fine Art Paper (250 gsm), a 100% cotton, museum-quality paper known for its exceptional detail and archival quality. Crafted on cylinder mould-made fine art paper, these prints are designed to last, being lignin-free, chlorine-free, and pH buffered to ensure the integrity and vibrancy of the original painting is preserved over time.

About the Luxury Goods Collection:

“For me, one of the most interesting – and yes, problematic – features of Christianity (a religion whose prophet owned effectively nothing) is its curious tolerance of wealth among the pious. Apart from contemporary, predominantly American preachers who celebrate personal wealth as a mark of God's approval, I've always found the portraits of the Dutch Golden Age (think Rembrandt, Hals, de Hooch) particularly suggestive in this regard. The proud Protestants in these seventeenth-century portraits, complete with their lace, satins, and jewel-encrusted crucifixes, are anxious to have their private wealth immortalized as the material expression of their righteousness. How passing strange is that?! If you ever needed proof that we humans are adept at living out contradictions, you could do worse than consider what’s pictured in these portraits.”
